I make way too many art topics. But I feel pretty special about this one so far.
I'm about to "hit the hay" so I'm quiting for the night on this.
Which makes it a work in progress for now.
Though, I am so obsessed with finishing a picture that I might actualy pick this back up tomorrow.


I'm kind of had the whole succubus subject stuck in my head for a while.
Hopefuly, when this is done, it'll end up being a girl with a white rose.
The white rose is sort of there as a simbol of purity/innocence.

I can't think or any other sort of simbol to put in this, but I feel like I should put something else in it.
I am kind of on the fince about puting clothes on her or not.
So maybe if I add the clothes it'll make up for the other simbol?

I love the hands and rose here. I know first-hand that hands are VERY hard to get right, yet, here you have them, with impeccable unshaded perfection.


The eyelashes are a bit on the simple side, but nonetheless excellent. Whereas I would add a differing-width squiggle, you make just the right dimensions with great darkening and dimensions. Excellent there.


And THEN there's the rose itself, threadbare though it be.... *scrolls up to scrutinize again*
zoiks. Did you have a photo reference for that rose? If not, my extremely sincere and deep kudo's. srsly, flowers are *difficult*. (not that I've tried or nothing, manly image aside)

That's some impressive arting, Fritzel. The hand/rose are at least seven kinds of awesome.

As is the rest, but the rose part really caught my eye.

as far as clothing goes...I see her wearing robes of some sort that form a dress...a strapless dress, it'd be. hard to describe what I'm talking about, so I will try and find a picture ref for ya if you're interested in the idea.
