Well, nothing in there about ignoring your patients.

Sadly enough, I know this isn't the only case of ER staff being inattentive. And I can't think of a good word, so

seems to cover some of it.

Was this in Canada? Wouldn't surprise me if it was, our ERs are terrible.

I'm not sure I'd say the hospital is bad as much as I'd blame the employees. Yes, the emergency room is busy, yes, they have things that need to be done, but you don't ignore patients. Especially not for a full day, and there is no excuse for not helping someone who collapses.

I'd say that's about the only reason to call a bad hospital a bad hospital, unless it's underfunded.
