'Cause it's more fun to view them one at a time instead of all at once, and it cuts down on the number of images per page, which makes loading happier. And for the poster, they get a higher count. Hmm... Maybe I should split this paragraph up into one word per post... Or one letter! =D

eh, I stand by Stray's answer for the question.

and if you want you can macro them, I don't care. I just found these off iGoogle, and some are macro'd while others aren't.
