Okay, honestly, I wanted to go next, but I just can't seem to bring myself to do it if I don't chat with other roleplayers first.

I did two written roleplays like this before and both went straight to hell. So I'm kinda afraid it happens again if I'm too hasty in "meeting" another character so early on.

OK. Don't worry about killing the RP; I tend to murder them or make them stillborn. But I'll probably do a double post and introduce our big bad somewhere else.

My big problem is that since it's not clear who is the focus of the OP, I have no idea where my character should be.

The OP was mostly setting up how the prisoners got to town and introducing my PC. So really, you could have your character be anywhere in town, and I'll find a way to get the PCs all together.
