More or less, da. On data deletion days, Mr. Lefleur and I are last ones to leave. We review week's camera data after last show, and then he does bookkeeping or something of sort in office while I am deleting camera data for week.

I see...and does it take a long time to delete the data? I would imagine not seeing as it's digital, but I'm not an expert.

Clearly you are not expert, Mr. Lawyer. Flypaper uses high-resolution cameras, so week's worth of data is over 100 gigabytes. Deleting usually takes at least one hour.

*blinks* That's a long time! Would someone with knowledge of the system be able to control which parts are downloaded first?

Is possible, I suppose. The order does not matter, though. All data is deleted eventually.

"Hmm well then who could have had a hand in the missing part of that tape? Was it just part of procedure that it is missing? Deleting of this week was scheduled on day of murder, is it coincidence? Or is it something else...?"

Video system is completely local to security room. There is computer console where you can log onto system with user name and do one of three options: To view recorded video, to copy to portable flash drive, and to delete data. According to Flypaper protocols, Business owner and contracted Flypaper employee are only people to have user names on system.

"Hmm, I don't know what to make of that... can the prosocution or defense help me out on this?"

Er, that is, yes, password protected. Log shows, um, login of "admin" account, which Flypaper closes when system is sent to customer. Trespasser probably used password breaking program to access admin account.
