New RP?

Trying to start up a new one, but I'm not sure what kind would get the most interest. Since I'd like to actually have one on this site not die, I'm asking you guys. What genre would you like? Feel free to offer any other suggestions.

I'd be about equally interested in a cyberpunk and steampunk. Also horror, but only if you're the next Stephen King or something.

I'm probably going to have to take suggestions on cyber/steampunk, as I'm not too familiar with either (aside from reading Girl Genius), but from the little I know, they seem like fun.

Only if it's wrong that I've never read or watched anything by King. I inly put the horror in there because I thought someone might be into it.

Well, it depends on what kinda horror. I prefer Lovecraft-esque horror, but only when it's more ACTUALLY like the stories he wrote, and less like the emo fanbase's shitty ass fiction.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of horror. But it it was the majority vote, I'd try it out.

No more wrong than it is that I've never been scared by anything from the "horror" genre.

I'm leaning toward a whateverpunk (It's not my fault they use punk as a suffix). Quite a few I've never heard of before. Clockpunk and mythpunk look intriguing.

OK, I've decided. We're gonna do a variation on steampunk, clockpunk. Basically, everything's run on clockwork instead of steam, so we can set it around the Renaissance. I'm gonna be stealing a lot of Da Vinci's inventions to help get a feel for the kinds of technology at our characters' disposal. Another example fans of the Doctor will recognize.

Feel free to post any ideas you have, and I'll keep them in mind.

I'm gonna do a little more reading and try and figure out where we're gonna be since I've got a basic when pegged at around 1520.

Err, is there any way I can know if I voted already? I can't select anything yet I don't remember reading this.

I'm bored, the only guy I used to rp with without getting DBZed works all the time and having no friends to goof around with some second persona is making me very cranky.

Maybe I just need a life, but we can't really ride motorcycles that comes out of nowhere at will or molest a dragon in real life.
