| Hey, to everyone who's seen the Tank Girl movie. I'm thinking to do something for my own videos of taking comic panels and using them for segments, sort of like in the Tank Girl movie. So, who saw the movie, and what did you think of their use of panel segments? Do you think it would be a good idea for a fan video of some other material (meaning non-Tank Girl). |

| FREAKIN' AWESOME MOVIE! I love the random comic panels between scenes. And the voices that went with it. It was just awesome. (: _________________ | Steve Setzer wrote: | | Hey Fritz....... Nice sigs! |

| I wouldn't write they were RANDOM; I figured they just put those panels in there to 1) Give it a more comic book-like feel. and/or 2) Make scenes that they may not have had a budget/technology to make real. So, that's one person who thinks that style works. And yes, this will be a video project I put up on YouTube, so you guys can check it out when the time comes. |

| I didn't mean them being in the movie was random. I meant the flashing/scatter-y randomness when they showed the clips. And I think the style worked for that movie, but it may not for another. Annd I don't think I'd watch another movie just because of the comic pannel clips between each scene. I watched Tank Girl because I love the comic and it was an actual movie done by an actual movie crew. Not some guy at his home computer. But good luck. :) _________________ | Steve Setzer wrote: | | Hey Fritz....... Nice sigs! |

When I go to Hollywood and start making movies, I'm going to remember that. "Fritz refused to watch my YouTube movies just because I was 'some guy at his home computer,' even though I was usually at the school computer."
So, Nevr, did you like the inclusion of comic panels? |

| I thought they were funny, but some dragged on so long that it was really evident that it was just a tenuous narrating device. Plus, the dichotomy between the kangaroo-people in the movie and the comic book panels annoyed me. _________________ My father is a bastard, my ma's an S.O.B. | While we're on the subject of the Kangaroo people, wasn't there supposed to be a strip scene in the movie? I thought there was, but it was cut out of the DVD for some reason. |

It was good when I saw it, and it had Malcolm McDowell. |
