| So, what have you seen, what would you like to see, what would you like to see go up in flames? I've got a pretty short list and have managed most of it. -Up -Star Trek -Wolverine Have seen the first two. Loved them both. _________________ Perhaps there is something wrong with the Brain Tumbler. Or you could be insane, but we'll run tests on that later.

| I want to see up and star trek. I heard they both are good. Wolverine was awesome! I loved it. though the version I saw was hilarious. my boyfriends mom got a pirated copy before the movie even came out. it was a decent copy but a lot of the special effects weren't done and thats what made it hilarious. :D |

| Despite the endless pissing and moaning by a contingent of "fans" on the various Star Trek sites, I think the new movie is excellent, and hopefully it'll revive the franchise. It's definitely getting non-fans interested--even my older sister thought it was cool, and she normally wouldn't. _________________ "There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. | I was under the impression most nerd-pissing this summer was directed at Wolverine. I loved Star Trek. |

Well, I dunno, since I don't hang around on comic book boards. _________________ "There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. | Star Trek was amazing. I would watch the hell out of a new Star Trek series if they made one based on the movie. _________________ |

| I watched Star Trek and I enjoyed it. Aside from that I haven't seen any movies in a while. _________________ Buy me a pony.

| No. It was my boyfriend's way of getting back at me for making him see Year One. _________________ | Steve Setzer wrote: | | Hey Fritz....... Nice sigs! |

| Had no desire to see either. Went to see Harry Potter with my mom. I lost the vote to see Public Enemies as driving apparently grants a second vote. Ah well, it wasn't bad. Except for the fact I went with my mom. Why? Was it the Sweeney Todd jokes we shot back in forth whenever Rickman, Spall, and/or Bonham-Carter were on screen together? Was it the fact that she kept asking about plot points that I'd forgotten, having not read the book since the 7th came out? Was it getting punched in the arm when I literally could not stop laughing at what was supposed to be a shocking and sad scene? Ah well. The special effects were a treat, and I thought the acting was good, even if the film deviated a lot from the book. _________________ Perhaps there is something wrong with the Brain Tumbler. | Woo, double post. Quite enjoyed Public Enemies. I've always found the gangsters of the Depression-era fascinating. _________________ Perhaps there is something wrong with the Brain Tumbler. Or you could be insane, but we'll run tests on that later.

| Harry Potter was pretty good, though they really should have changed the name. The whole "Half-Blood Prince" thing was not explored at all, and I don't blame them because movies should not focus on sidequest character backstories. But the one thing that bothered me the whole movie was "WHO THE FUCK IS THAT GIRL?" because I hadn't read the book since the morning it came out. I can't wait for the DVD; the copy I saw was from a video recorder in Mexico. >.> Orphan was also good, if you're into that sort of thing. It's the sort of mystery thing that's only good one time though. |
