...is the title of the [fanfare] sixth novel in the incredibly inaccurately-named
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy. The author will be Eoin Colfer, who is best known for writing the Artemis Fowl books. I listened to the audio version of the first book in that series, but sort of lost interest/gave up after a while. I have mixed feelings. I'm glad we will no longer have to have the series end on the incredibly bleak ending of
Mostly Harmless, but I'm not sure about Colfer. If it were up to me, I would have chosen Neil Gaiman.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." -- Rogers, Kung Fu Monkey
