So I was reading through the old 'Last Man Standing' threads over on the Fan Forum and liked the concept. I'd like to try and run a similar idea, though in a somewhat different setting, and with different rules.

Due to my gaming background, I have a distinct love for the general setting of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Though if you are unfamiliar with the setting, don't worry. I don't plan to make knowledge of the game an important part of the battles. Most of the basic ideas will be drawn from the 'Inquisitor' game, though with obvious changes due to the format.

For those of you familiar with the 40K setting, you'll start off equipped with flashlights and cardboard armour. For those unfamiliar with the setting, you'll start off with lasguns and flak armour. As the game progresses, you'll be able to find and/or buy better weapons, armour
and other gizmos, and even gain new abilites and psychic powers.

Rather than working with a total HP value, injury will be tracked seperately for different locations. This means that yes, you can make head and groin shots.

So in short... Big guns... Quasi-organised shooting other forum dwellers and hapless NPCs and the chance to shoot people in the groin. I'll add more information, but first I'd like to know if there's even interest.

And Mac, it's a tabletop strategy game. In this case the setting of the futuristic edition. However, knowledge of the setting is unimportant to the general game.

I have heard of Warhammer many times but alas I still know nothing of its rules and whatnot.
But yeah, this sounds like LMS with more gore so I'd join.

All of the players will be guardsmen, armed with your standard gear for cannon fodder.

I will update once a day. After an update each player can take a set number of actions (in one post). This is their turn for that update.

Each update I will resolve the actions taken by the players, and post any additional information / effects that happen. Last man (or woman) standing wins the round.

Denzo, the rules of Warhammer is you keep shooting until you're eventually ingested by the alien swarm.

Chapter 666 will prevail. Off to war!
