Anyone up for a run of this? I know we did this on the old fansite, but rehash of the rules:
1: People sign up by posting here.
2: Once enough people have signed up, I randomly sort them into one or more groups, with a minimum group size of 4 people. More is better, but we'll work with what we have. If we don't get a very big group, I may elect to send it through twice.
3: The first person is PM'ed a caption; they must draw a picture to go with it, and email it back to me.
4: The picture is then sent, sans caption, to the next person on the list, who then sends back a caption they think fits the picture.
5 to N: This process continues, alternating between pics and captions, until the whole list is gone through.
N+1: The entire round is posted as a single list, in order.
Rules:
Bad drawing is a-ok, makes it funnier. Paint is fine.
It works best if you try to refer to what's going on in the picture, without actually describing it literally. Likewise, pictures should have enough of the material from the captions to logically fit, but it's okay if there's extraneous material after that, and you should avoid text balloons that might just result in a repeat of the caption. Ideally, the full list should end up resembling a bizarre cross between Pictionary and Telephone.
Hopefully, pictures take a week, captions 2-3 days.
Players may join in at any time. If we're almost done with a round, I'll probably just include you in the next round; if we're still early enough, I'll tack you onto the end of a list (or maybe sub you in for someone who isn't responding).
