| Well, I love DoS mostly because of the level and game play design, sure, it's not perfect, and I think the combat system in Ecclesia is better, but as a whole, I just enjoyed it more than the others. That, and Julius mode is just frigging awesome. But at any rate, I love all Castlevania games, wait, that's not entirely true... the N64 ones didn't caught my attention as much. |

| The PS2 Castlevania was crap. And I'm sorry, DoS was mindless fun, but I wouldn't really ever classify it as *GOOD* Plus it's way too easy. _________________ | Quote: | | The world is a mess and I just need to... rule it. |

| Eh, hard mode was challenging enough, and again, everyone is entitled to their opinions. Aria of Sorrow is pretty close to it anyway. |

| If you read the thread history, I lumped Aria in with Dawn at first, but relented when I was reminded that at least the artwork was pretty good, and the story wasn't as bad. Still not my favorite though. But not Dawn, I will not be convinced there. _________________ | Quote: | | The world is a mess and I just need to... rule it. |

| Yeah, the PS2 games are a let down in several ways, but the music in both was amazing. The CoD soundtrack is my favourite in the series. _________________ Buy me a pony.

Wholehearted agreement!
Then again.... Dracula X Chronicles and Portrait sure come close to nabbing top-spot on music for me.... |
True, for me the CoD and Dracula X soundtracks are very close from each other from being my favorite ones, then PoR and DoS
And lament, despite being pretty sub-par, also has some nice tunes. |

| If not, you really should, the new stage 5' alone makes it worth your while. _________________ Buy me a pony.

| I'm amazed you have even asked Gil, I'm sure I have mentioned I owned it before. Yes, I have it, I mentioned in my above post, but I apparently forgot to put the whole thing and only wrote "Dracula X" n.n; And hell, I like most of the soundtrack, that's why I consider it the best along with CoD's one. Slash and cross a fear are my personal favorites aside from stage 5' one that I fail to remember the name right now XD |

| Yeah, that, those three are my favorite ones from that soundtrack. Teus Deus Meus is also quite awesome, but a tad repetitive. |

| 5' is awesome and all, but somehow, 5 "Picture Of A Ghost Ship", stands as my favourite new stage. Boss was a PAIN until I noticed he didn't make a projectile counter to axes.... hmmm..... _________________ |

| I think Teus Deus Meus is a hell of a lot better than the original especially with that little bit of vampire killer they throw in, the only disappointment for me music wise was how Posion Mind didn't play during the stage 6 fights like it did in the original. I mean come on, the first 4 Castlevania bosses with the original Castlevania boss theme? I loved that. _________________ Buy me a pony.

| Well, stage 5 was neat yes, but I actually found Death to be incredibly easy once I figured his pattern and reach with the scythe. |

| I never learned Death's reach and pattern. I always just ax'd him to death. ...To my dismay when I fought him with Maria. _________________ |
