Actually... Wasn't it under Bill Clinton that we went into Ira[q/n]/Afganistan/whereverthefuck and fucked around in things for a little while, made a big mess, then just left, thus seriously pissing off people like Bin Laden, who I cannot entirely blame? I don't know much at all about anything besides the most recent politics, but I think that's what I heard.

Actually Bill Clinton managed to keep something like 9/11 from happening for a good 8 years, mostly because of very competent CIA people.
