That's really really lame if they didn't hire you for that. But I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be it. :(

As for me I am just ARGH! because I was late to everything I needed to do today and I never get time on school days to just sit down and rest. I also have work at 7 am tomorrow. I try to look on the bright side of things, but it's really hard to.

Did you tell them about "No Shave November"?
But still, I'm sorry to hear about this "argh" moment. *hug*

That wouldn't have flown. It was October when I interviewed SHH

But I'm still convinced it wasn't facial hair. I figure if it was, someone would say, "If you want to work here, you'll need to shave your goatee."

It's just another example of the "man" trying to bring us down.

I've also had a bad experience with an earache. It was so bad that I had to just rest my ear on a magic bag and go " Oh fucking hell this hurts". I couldn't move because I felt dizzy every time I tried to walk. Luckily it only lasted for a day.

Hope you get better.

I have a bunch of stuff due next week, including two group projects. One of which I can't get my group to respond to me about and we thus have not started. It's not a big project, but the irritation remains, especially since I'm not even going to be in town this weekend.

My family keeps nagging me about study abroad to the point where they're about ready to push me onto the plane with or without my consent...and I'm not even sure that I want to go or can work out my classes to do so at this point.

Oh, I also was nearly hit by a car on two separate occasions on the way to class this morning.

A fire started at the concrete plant behind the store where I work.

Naturally, this leads to a damn mob of people coming to park and gawk, and this involved several near-miss accidents in the parking lot. Why do people do this?

I don't understand why people would flock to a fire just to look at it. Grab some buckets and hoses, you assholes.

My brother called me closed-minded because I think 24 is a terrible show for (among other things) advocating torture.

edit: I can't tell if he actually supports torture or if he thinks I'm unreasonable for finding support of torture horrific, but either way he's pissing me off.

edit2: Okay, I think he's saying that I'm closed-minded because I find uneducated, misleading, and downright wrong opinions worthy of mockery. And here I thought my brother was a pretty smart guy.

Bonus family retardation drama: My mom thinks that since I used to like 24 (DON'T JUDGE ME I WAS RAISED BY CONSERVATIVES OKAY), I must still like 24 even though it is no longer clever and is now a literal cliche factory.

I've reached a point in a game where it decides to throw a seemingly endless supply of tough enemies at me, give me only one health restorative and just let me duke it out from there.

Normally I'd be fine with this if it wasn't so impossible and one of the enemies is capable of taking a third of your life bar off and you can never tell where the goddamn thing is because you're too busy focusing on some stupid wizard who keeps healing the bastards whenever you think you're winning.

Damn it.

I hate it when games do that. Is it really so much to ask for a game to be moderately difficult the whole way through instead of alternating mind-numbingly easy and impossibly hard?

Well, I beat it(through unreasonably cheap methods, but whatever works). I also found out that the fight was optional. That pisses me off more than anything.
