Posting this topic to either remind people or or let them know of Earth Hour on March 28, 2009.

I don't really care about this "save the earth from global warming" deal.. I just think of how much money the earth would save during that hour. And it isn't all at once, just 8:30pm your local time. Even if you don't care at all about what this small event may do, you could still do it anyway. Cause what does it hurt to turn off your lights(and stay off the computer) for an hour on just once day...?

(Plus, think of all the places that honestly can not turn off their power, like hospitals and some stores/businesses. But if all the common people who live in thier own home would just take this one hour to turn off the lights, it would make a big difference I think...)
